Stichting EU SYNERGY
A foundation for entrepreneurship and social change
Stichting EU Synergy was established in 2008 as a Dutch philanthropic foundation in complement with the international Treaty for Friendship, Commerce, and Navigation between the Netherlands and the United States of America. Based in Amsterdam, Holland, EU Synergy focuses its operations, partnerships and investments to develop individual economic independence, world-wide.
We work with women, children and youth, and minorities to foster an understanding of the integral role of entrepeneurship in global society. More importantly, we mentor these world-citizens directly, enabling them to apply the entrepeneurial skills successfully. We believe the personally, empowering skills of entrepreneurship is the most effective way to achieve economic independence in a global society.
The Foundation focuses its work largely in the Netherlands by developing model programs that can be applied in other international communities for social change. In 2008, our program goals are to support women and minority entrepreneurship, youth education for entrepreneurship and knowledge management.
About Our Name
The name of our foundation, EU Synergy, was chosen to capture the entrepreneurial spirit flowing through the European Member States, and as a representation of the global synergistic cooperation achievable between the United States of America and the European Union.
